Tom is a 1984 Graduate of General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan, with a Bachelor of Industrial Administration degree. His 20 years of manufacturing, purchasing, and materials management have largely been in the Automotive and Power Tool Industries. Tom is certified in Purchasing Management by N.A.P.M., and is certified in production and inventory management by APICS. Tom is responsible for general operations.

Tom is married and the father of three children. He is also fondly known as the former Mayor of Carl, Georgia.
